Since 2013 the artist has been based in Chermside, Brisbane where the Homage to the Seed Project soon evolved into the project known as SeedArtLab, also the name of the Studio where many events and classes have taken place for over a decade.
As of late 2024 the artist will be preparing to transition to a new place an hour north of Brisbane ... as yet no dates are set or timelines fixed ... contact will continue to be made at the links provided here now and into the future.
Since 2018 the Artist's practice has shifted from an intense focus on SeedLab residencies and pursuing the science-art connection. Links remain vital to work done in that area from 2010 onwards however this website has been kept as an archive of extensive resources and stories from that very significant period.The shift in focus to Education came with the Hong Kong SeedArtLab residencies in Schools there in May and again in November of 2017, and subsequent years connecting often with Queensland Secondary Education following the publication of senior textbook Creative Inquiry.

Since launching the 'Seeds through an Artist's Lens' workshop program in 2015 at PlantBank, Australian Botanic Gardens, Mt Annan, NSW the artist has conducted one day, weekend and extended workshops in various Australian venues, including Botanic Gardens, Education Institutions, private residences, Community & Arts-related forums as well as at her Brisbane Northside home studio, SeedArtLab. Two residencies in Hong Kong, May & Nov 2017 led to a program of classes for School Students of various age groups, a Saturday workshop for Art Teachers of Hong Kong, and 2 workshops at St James Creation, an Arts foundation for Disabled participants in Wanchai, HK.
A recent publication of the new CREATIVE INQUIRY text book accompanying the Syllabus for Year 12 Visual Art in Queensland features a Case Study on the artist under Art As Lens, 7 pages of text & images on the artist's work & project Homage to the Seed.
It's the intention of the artist to continue to grow this work in education & communication around the project's Seeds through an Artist's Len's program whilst carrying out ongoing research and Art production.
